I am from Poland. I came to Ireland about four months ago and decided to live in Drogheda. I am very glad I did as the town has everything I need. I love the shops, the pubs, the social life and we are only a 10 minute drive from the beach. I study English at Royal Business and I am enjoying it very much. The teachers are very supportive and experienced. The lessons are interesting and stimulating and I have made friends with people from Mauritius, Brazil, China, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania and Germany. I would recommend the college to study English and Drogheda for the Guinness.

I am from Ji Lin city in China. Last year I passed my Certificate in Business course and I have now progressed on to the Diploma in Business Administration course. Everyone here is very supportive and helpful. Examinations through English are difficult, but our teachers do a lot of exam preparation with us and constantly encourage us. They understand the difficulties that students have when they are in a foreign country and try to help us as much as possible. I am enjoying my studies here and would recommend this college to you.

I am from Mauritius. I am studying on the BTEC course. I love this course as there are no examinations and all your work is assessed through assignments/coursework. It is also very practical and at the moment I am doing an assignment on “Business Enterprise” .We have to produce a business plan for a new business venture. Maybe I will start up this business when I complete my course!

I am from China and am studying on the BTEC Course. I choose this course because I wanted to improve my Business knowledge and improve my Business English. I am really enjoying this course, but it is hard work. All my coursework is assessed through English and I have to carry out research using Business books, the internet and by researching local businesses. However, my confidence in using English has grown enormously. We get loads of advice and support both with the content of our coursework but also in our use of English. When I complete my course, I will have my certificate in Business and will take the BEC – Business English Certificate from Cambridge. If you want to get a recognised qualification in Business and improve your Business English language skills, then this is the course for you.

I am from Brazil. I came to the college in January 2006 to study English. I am enjoying my course and I like meeting people from other countries. I am working very hard to improve my English as I want to do my masters next year and I need excellent English to do well on this course. I  am confident that the teachers here will help me improve my English and after a few months I will be able to take the IELTS examination. As the class size is small, I get individual attention and can focus or my areas of weakness in English. I enjoy living in Drogheda and the people here are very friendly.
