Step 1

To make an application to the college, you need to organise the following documents.

  • Fully completed application form.
  • Curriculum Vitae/Resume detailing your academic and work history to date
  • Copies of second level/high school certificates.
  • Copies of university/third level certificates
  • Copy of relevant pages of passport
  • Two passport sized photographs
  • Application fee of €200 made payable to Royal Business College

Step 2

Send these documents to:

Admissions, Royal Business College, No 14 Workspace, Mayoralty Street, Drogheda, Co Louth, Ireland

Alternatively, you can send the documents to our local representative in your country. Contact the college for further details of our representatives.

Please note: Your application can be made by e-mail and the registration fee can be transferred electronically to our bank account.

Step 3

On receipt of these documents we will:

  • Review the application to ensure you meet the entry requirements for your chosen course.
  • Send you a letter offering you a place on the relevant course.
  • Send you an Agreement Contract and Student Declaration letter.

Step 4

Please sign the Agreement Contract and Student Declaration letter and forward it with all your course fees to the college. Course fees must be paid in full prior to visa application.

The course fee must be paid directly to Royal Business College by electronic transfer. A copy of this transfer must be accompanied with your visa application.

Step 5

On receipt of your course fees, we will issue you with a Formal Offer of Acceptance and Receipt. Both these documents are sent with your visa application.

Step 6

Complete the Visa Application Form and forward to local Irish Embassy/Consulate. The charge for your visa application is €60 which must be sent with your application.

If there is no Irish Embassy in your country, please forward your Visa Application and all documents to Royal Business College. We will then make the application on your behalf.

Waiting Times for visa decisions

The student visa application procedure may take up to 8 weeks, so please ensure you apply to the college on time.

You will receive a student visa reference number from the Irish Department of Justice within 2-4 weeks of receipt of your application. Please forward this reference number to the college when you receive it.

You can check your student visa decision on-line from www.justice.ie.

If my visa application is not successful, will I get a full refund?

Yes. The full tuition fee is refundable when you provide us with a copy of your refusal letter. However, the application fee of €200 is non refundable.

Also please note that once you have started your course in Ireland, the college will not refund your tuition fees. However, you can change your chosen course of study in the college after consultation with the Director.

What happens if my visa gets refused?

You should contact the college immediately, so that help and advice may be given to appeal against the decision.
