WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR CLASS
Classes start on time, so please
arrive a few minutes early.
We provide all the class material
which includes :
Course books
Dictionaries
Additional photocopied material
Videos
You need to bring your own pen and paper. It is also a good
idea to start your own dictionary to help develop your English
vocabulary.
Each session will focus on one module. We use a wide variety
of teaching materials in each session – courses books, videos,
white boards, handouts etc. Suitable practice materials might
include book extracts; the editorial section of newspapers;
feature articles, news reports, case studies. We also use
videos of documentaries, news, current affairs programmes
etc.
You will be given homework on a regular basis and we expect
you to complete this. This will be marked and returned to
you within 2 days or sooner. We will make comments on areas
of difficulties and make suggestions on how to improve your
work.
You progress will be reviewed on a regular basis. We conduct
in-class tests once a month and we will give you feedback
on your progress.
We also ask both you and your teachers to comment on your
progress each term. We can then discuss this with you.
